In mining industry, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is the binder of pellets and flotation inhibitor, and the raw material of binder for forming ore powder. Adhesive is an indispensable component in pellet preparation, which can improve the performance of wet, dry and roasted pellets, and has good adhesion and pelletization. The raw balls produced have good anti-detonation performance, high compressive and falling strength of dry and wet pellets, and can improve the grade of pellet ore.
It is mainly used as silicate gangue inhibitor, lead suppression in copper and lead separation, and sometimes used as slime dispersant.
CMC is white or light yellowish odorless powder or granular.It is soluble in cold or hot water into clarified solution.
