Polyacrylamide is a multifunctional oil field chemical treatment agent. PAM's properties of thickening, flocculation and fluidity regulation make it play an important role in oil production.  


Applications:

1. Polyacrylamide is used as a drilling fluid additive:


Drilling fluid is used as a performance regulator of drilling mud in petroleum exploitation.  The main function is to adjust the rheological properties of drilling fluid, carry cuttings, lubricate drill bits, and facilitate drilling.  In addition, it can greatly reduce stuck drillers, reduce wear and tear on equipment, and prevent well losses and collapses.


2.Polyacrylamide as polymer flooding:


Polymer flooding is to increase the viscosity of injected water and the oil-water flow ratio by adding a certain amount of polyacrylamide into the injected water.  Due to the formation of polyacrylamide molecular adsorption and capture function, reduce the permeability of high, medium permeable formation, increased the injected water seepage resistance, expand the scope of the impact of injected water in oil layer on plane and longitudinal flooded reservoir thickness, so as to expand the water volume, to replace the driver did not use the oil, and achieve the purpose of improving oil recovery.
