Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC) is used as filtration reducer or viscosifier in drilling fliuids.CMC forms a thin,resilient and low-premeability filter cake to control fluid loss, encapsulate shale particles to inhibit swelling,increase viscosity where necessary and yield high suspension of drilling cuttings.

Product description:


Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC) is used as filtration reducer or viscosifier in drilling fliuids.

CMC forms a thin,resilient and low-premeability filter cake to control fluid loss, encapsulate shale particles to inhibit swelling,increase viscosity where necessary and yield high suspension of drilling cuttings.

CMC can be used to protect oil Wells as mud stabilizer and water retaining agent in oil drilling

CMC HV increase viscosity and suspention particles while CMC HV designed for drilling fluids does not require viscosity increase.

Muds containing CMC are less affected by mold, do not need to maintain high PH values, and do not need preservatives.

CMC containing mud is stable and reduces water loss even at temperatures above 150 degrees.
